Worship Committee
Our aims
Our role is to help our school evaluate collective worship and find ways to develop its Christian character. We want to support our school as we develop our different values each term.
Our priorities for 2023/2024
To ensure our spirituality books are updated and celebrated in all of our classrooms with a focus on our Ow’s Wow’s and Now’s.
To research the use of and develop our reflective areas around our school.
To lead specific worships throughout the year
To start evaluating worships
Worships
At Cold Aston CofE Primary School, we attend collective worship daily.
Each day we explore our current value through the following worships:
Monday - Celebration Worship which members of our community are invited to
Tuesday - Singing worship
Wednesday - Open the Book Worship led by members of the community
Thursday - Whole school worship
Friday - Worship Committee worship or a Singing Worship
Other Worships
Throughout the year, each class will deliver their own special worship to the school, parents and community around their learning. We also hold special worships to celebrate Christian events such as Harvest, Christmas and Easter. Please keep an eye out for these dates by looking at the school calendar.
